base bath

Discharge your inner tensions.

Basic Bath Salts

Our alkaline bath consists of numerous minerals that our body needs to maintain its elasticity.

Because of the alkaline reaction during bathing and the recommended friction with skin brush or cloth, the skin surface film and callus is dissolved. The sebaceous glands are stimulated and promote the re-lubrication of the skin. Thus, it is not drained and dry, as with normal foam baths, but velvety soft and thus also increases the general well-being.

Dip into an alkaline full bath and “unload” your inner tensions.

In addition, you can also use our alkaline salt as a foot or hand bath, in the shower as a scrub, in salt socks or as a wrap.

Until 70 years ago, all body care was alkaline

The growing life in the womb shows us the ideal body care. This is as alkaline as the amniotic fluid of the expectant mother, which should have an alkaline ph value of 8 to 8.5. The well-known example of alkaline care is curd soap (pH 8.5-9.0). People with skin problems who go back to curd soap appreciate its mild, itch-relieving properties.

Basic body care means gentle cleansing and better renewal of the skin by thoroughly removing old layers of skin. Unfortunately, this knowledge has been increasingly forgotten in recent decades. The usual body care has a pH value of e.g. 5.0- 5.5 (acidic pH value)) for shower gels. For many decades the function of the acid mantle has been discussed. However, the classical findings about the importance of the acidic pH for the skin are increasingly refuted by recent biochemical and molecular biological studies.
